The gardens at St Andrews Church are looking lovely at the moment and after looking at some photos from our 50th Anniversary celebrations it was a wonderful surprise to see how much they have come along since then. These lovely gardens are a blessing to us all, as are the few members who routinely nurture and care for them, Helen G, Julie O and Peter B.

While everything is looking lovely there are still some areas requiring maintenance and extra hands to help are needed with: mulching the driveway and front verge garden beds, planting a couple of trees, repairs to garden bed borders, a dump run, washing tables and plastic chairs, cleaning the BBQ and other small jobs to tidy up.

It has been several years since a request for this kind of involvement from you has been made and we are hoping for a good turn out and not just “the usual suspects”. Please consider sharing your time, effort and fellowship in this way. Even if you can only commit an hour or two, that will be of great help to the end result and we would love to see you all there!
