Below are some events that have come to us from other congregations, these are faith events so we have chosen to share them here.




Women’s Fellowship Event

Sister Union Presents Interdenominational theme, Be Still and Know I Am God.

Saturday 1st August 4pm – 8pm at Good Shepperd Lutheran College. All women are invited to this spirit-filled gathering across denominations




Light Of Life Forum.

You are invited to join ‘The Light Of Life Forum’ to stop abortions in the third trimester. This is a family friendly free event. Saturday 15th August. ‘The Village Green, Humpty Doo’ 9am. Advocating the support for men and women during pregnancy.

Coming in August there are 3 Suicide prevention workshops – no cost to attend.

These workshops are aimed at people who are employed or volunteers who support the population groups and are aged 18 years +

Save the Date – Saturday 14th November - LCA

Dear Congregation/Parish,

 

We would appreciate if you could promote the revised date for the ‘Together in Christ’ one-day conference with your community.

We’re excited to share with you that ‘Together in Christ’ District-wide conference will be held on Saturday 14 November 2026 at Good Shepherd, Para Vista.

All Church members are invited to attend, to gather together, grow together and go in mission and ministry together through electives and engaging speakers in a range of topics.

It will be a day for everyone to be inspired about mission opportunities, hear stories from people who are engaging in mission in their community, and be encouraged and equipped. It’s not just a day of listening, but a day of gathering, giving thanks, and being sent out to share the Gospel in your own communities. Cost will be $30 per person, and registrations will open on Tuesday 28 July. More details to come.
