What's happening in our parish.
Parish Worship Services each Sunday at 9:30am at St Andrew Trower Road, Nightcliff. Come join us in worship and stay after service for morning tea and fellowship.
What's happening in our congregation.
There are a lot of changes in our parish future. We will share these when the time is right. So stay tuned.
Visiting Pastors. Our last visiting pastors were Pastor Jim Bryan in August and Bishop Andrew in September. A special thanks again to all congregation members who assisted in hosting these pastors in whatever capacity that was. It is wonderful that many were only too happy to make changes to include special needs and wishes. Our visiting pastors do appreciate our NT hospitality and friendliness. We need to maintain this too as we will still be needing to call on others to come north until we find our special pastor! I have made several calls and made contact for future assistance and am awaiting confirmation or not. Unfortunately, I have just read an email from Pastor Lester, and he is now unable to come for Christmas as family plans have changed. I am already onto a possible replacement so will keep you informed.
Worship Schedule. The next three-month worship schedule which will take in October, November and December. If any of you are intending to be elsewhere for Christmas, travelling away for the school holiday period or any holiday period, can you please let me know when you will be unavailable to assist? This will assist with arranging a manageable schedule.
End of Year Good Shepherd College functions. As another year draws to a close, there are often wonderful opportunities to share in celebrations with our students and staff at the College as students receive awards, year 12s graduate and various campus groups have their special occasions. I will ask Matt to share any of these dates and issue abroad invitation to all worship members to come along and share these celebrations. It's a wonderful time for all to celebrate God's work amongst our staff and students.

Let Us Prayer
Lord, I know that You hold the future in the palm of Your hands and I place my trust in You. Calm my mind and help me focus on your voice. I know you are always there to protect me from the uncertainty that this world throws my way and whatever obstacles are placed before me, they are there to test me, never break me. Let me reach for your hand to guide me on the path you have laid before me. I pray that no matter what the future holds, that You will remain there beside me. You are my light in the darkness and the calm in the storm, may I never feel forsaken as long as I hold you in my heart.
